Moonwalkers train

Katrina Kenny and Caroline Jardine of Langholm are training for the London Moonwalk which takes place this year on Saturday 11th May.
They’ll be walking the 26 miles in aid of Breast Cancer Research and are looking for sponsors. Kerrie Gordon and Jill Graham are holding an Easter hamper raffle in the Bank of Scotland to help them raise funds so if you’d like to support them pop in there. The pair have so far managed to walk 16 miles so are well on with their training.
Katrina said
“When we turned 40 we decided to challenge ourselves to do something new every month – four years on we decided we needed new challenges as well as keep active and get fit and we also wanted to do some fund raising. I think we all know people that have been affected by cancer unfortunately.”
