On 23 February 2024, in the Alexandra Unit, after two years of stoically borne illness, John Alexander Glover aged 73 years. Beloved husband of Marion and much loved father of Joanne, Kirsty and Lindsay and dearest father-in-law, Papa, mentor and friend to so many. Memorial Service will be held in St George’s Church, Dumfries on Tuesday 19 March at 2pm. All friends respectfully invited to attend. This will be preceded by private cremation.

We are greatly saddened to inform you of the passing of William 'Greig' Mitchell. Beloved brother of David, Douglas, Helen and Maimie. Greig left us peacefully at home with loved ones alongside. He will be greatly missed. Funeral proceedings will be held at St. Andrews Church, Dumfries at 10am on Friday March 22nd. He will then be laid to rest alongside Marjory and Sarah at Ewes Cemetery near Langholm followed by a gathering of remembrance at the Caledonian Hotel, Dumfries at 2pm. At home on the 27th February 2024, Michael aged 83 years. John James Graham of Tympanheck Farm Chapelknowe on 27th February aged 86. Born and died in the home he loved. Husband of Aileen, dad to Jimmy and Victoria, father-in-law of Joanne and Iain, loved grandad and great grandad. Anne and family would like to thank everyone for the support, lovely flowers, cards and condolences received after the sad loss of Michael. Thank you to the Rev.
