Neil, born and bred in Langholm, after a brave fight, sadly passed on the 30th March 2021. Greatly loved by wife and best friend Eileen, will be sadly missed by daughters Caroline and Sandra. Papa to Judith, Laura, Cameron, Lewis and Laurie and great papa to Skye, Millie and Tristen Forever in our hearts. Our families thanks to the Doctors and staff in ward B2, Dumfries hospital for their care and friendship. Thanks also to Dr Taudevin and nurses at Langholm Heath centre Donations in Neil’s memory will be collected to buy respiratory equipment for ward B2. Trevor, aged 59 years, Langholm, formerly of Newcastle. After a short battle with cancer, on 20th March 2021. Dearly loved Dad of Laura & Kerry, best friend to Tess, much loved Grandad to Charlie & Father-in-law to Dave & Paul. Beloved Nephew, Cousin & Uncle to many & friend to all. Forever in our thoughts & hearts, may he Rest in Peace. Private funeral was held on 31st March, due to current circumstances. Any kind donations to The Friends of Thomas Hope Hospital.

Tony Reid would like to say a big thankyou to all nursing staff for looking after him, they are like family and a credit to their profession. We need the community hospitals to stay open, as this pandemic has proven how vital this service is. Thankyou very much Tony

The family took great comfort from all the friends who lined the street in Rowanburn and Canonbie on Bev's final journey.
