Punk Icon to visit Buccleuch

Johnny Rotten will sell-out soon even though it’s a year off!

Langholm Punk-Rock fans have been fired-up by the announcement that one of the genre’s legends is to appear on the Buccleuch Centre stage in October 2025.

John Lydon, born on January 31, 1956, in London, is a British singer, songwriter, and television personality, famously known by his stage name Johnny Rotten. He gained prominence as the lead vocalist of the punk rock band, the Sex Pistols, which he joined in 1975. The band’s rebellious image and provocative lyrics, especially in songs like “Anarchy in the U.K.” and “God Save the Queen,” made them icons of the punk movement.
