Thoughtful gift for popular bowler

Langholm Old President Robert Phillips and member Steven Barker present Rob with his trike and certificate

Rob receives a trike from fellow Old Town members

As most will know, Rob Dunn has done a lot of work for Langholm Old Town Bowling Club over the years, and the club wanted to show their appreciation to such a staunch member.

Diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease 15 years ago, Rob has been very positive in how he has dealt with the condition, and he doesn’t like to think it can beat him. His attitude is remarkable.

Rob has been struggling with his old bike over the last few months and after talking to him about a trike, he thought that would be better and safer for him.

As a sign of appreciation and for what he has done for the club, members and non-members made donations to pay for his new trike, hat and cover.
