Copshaw’s big day expertly captured by the Camera Club

All eyes were on the sky in the days running up to this year’s Holm Show with the weather proving changeable to say the least.
Happily, the dice fell the right way and although the clouds were occasionally a bit on the threatening side, the day stayed mostly dry and for once, wellies weren’t compulsory.
That was appreciated by all but none more so than Holm Camera Club Chairman Barry Jarvis and club member Mark Seaton.
They had been asked to take photographs at the Holm Show. Now that may seem a straightforward brief, but how could they put their own stamp on the day and yet stay true to the character of such a much loved and much photographed event?
And with so many options on offer – where best to start?
Barry says his main priority was to capture the essence of a very special community celebration.
