CANONBIE Primary School have chosen their newest digital leaders, pupil council, junior road safety officers, and eco committee members.
Elected either by writing a letter or doing a presentation, two pupils from each of the school’s three classes – a P1-3, P3-6 and P6/7 – are elected yearly.
The lucky digital leaders that were selected were Chloe Bell, Tia Hetherington, Harry Cattermole, Esme McLinden, Charlotte Forster and Vincent Utting.
On the pupil council there is now Felicity Graham, Danielle Ward, Daniel Stevens, Sally Matthews, Lily Ansbro, and Murren Graham.
While the junior road safety officers, features Amelia Smith, Amber Smith, Maddy Rall, Eliza Cook, Sonny Robertson and Sam Hay.
The eco committee sees Chloe Wilkinson, Kyle Hetherington, Samantha Skillen, and Amelia Douglas, as well as the whole of the P1-3 class as the teacher is the leader of the group.
There are also three houses in the school with captains, who are all P7 pupils, taking up their posts.
These were Campbell Graham and Grace Ellwood for Esk House, Maisie Hay and Sophie Nichol for Liddle House, and Megan Sheppard and Beth Wilson for Tarras House.
The school’s depute headteacher, Carol Wilson, said: “Congratulations to all children who applied for roles of additional responsibility.
“We will look forward to working with the children on school development.”
