Valentine’s day treat

Langholm primary pupils raise £700 at their coffee morning

A VALENTINE’S day treat awaited the “customers” of the Langholm P4/5 pupils’ coffee morning last Friday.
The school hall was packed with families and friends
enjoying the cakes, tray bakes and shortbread which had been prepared, some with a Valentine’s theme.
There was a raffle and tombola, along with a timed netball skills game.
There were plenty of hot and cold drinks and there was a very sociable atmosphere as people sat around the tables and had a good chat.
Congratulations were offered to the Primary Parent
Partnership and the pupils, whose efforts raised an amazing £700, which will go towards school funds. Thanks went to everyone who attended and provided home baking and prizes.
