Ullswater adventure for Academy pupils
Langholm Academy S3 pupils have recently returned from a week of adventure on Ullswater.
The E&L interviewed several S3 pupils before their trip and returned last week to see how it went.
Ailidh Scott said that the whole adventure ‘got us to work together as a team and helped us face our fears.” Glen Jamieson added that ‘It helped us get to know our classmates better and brought us closer together’.
The boys enjoyed the cliff jumping and tunnels more than the girls, but said as the tunnels got smaller, it became more difficult, and they had to slide out on their belly.
