A golden year for our young champs

 
 
 

Langholm athletes excel in track and field in 2022

Langholm has always punched above its weight when it comes to athletic achievement, but 2022 will undoubtedly go down as a golden year.

It saw the emergence of some truly exceptional teenage talent on both track and field – and some of the names we’ve been reporting on over the course of the year have the potential to light up UK athletics in the future.

Their success is testament to their hard work and dedication, but also the funding of the “Welcome to Langholm” Future Champions Awards, which has played such a major part in making it all possible.
