Four PBs as Langholm star is crowned school’s champ
Langholm athlete Matilda Brockley was crowned Scottish School’s Champion at last weekend’s U17 Scottish Schools Pentathlon Championships.
On a hot, sunny day in Grangemouth, the 15-year-old Academy pupil registered an incredible four personal bests to win the gold medal with a total of 3359pts.
Matilda started the day with a new PB of 1.60m in the high jump. This was quickly followed with another new PB of 12.13 seconds in the 80m hurdles.
