Vlog: Wellbeing in agriculture

Vlogger: Farmer Ian Barr of Bonnyrigg

This month’s dip into the world of podcasts, blogs, vlogs and other assorted media with any link to farming, takes us to Scotland’s Farm Advisory Service and the topic of mental health and wellbeing in agriculture.

In a video featuring Bonnyrigg arable farmer Ian Barr, it has some important messages of great relevance for farmers and crofters everywhere. Ian says he’s fortunate in having several people working on his farm, but acknowledges the challenges which are both physical and mental facing many in the industry of being isolated and working alone.

The video can be accessed through the Scotland Farm Advisory Service website along with a variety of other topics.
