Relay
A TRIO of P7 Canonbie school boys won their race at a schools’ competition, despite only one of them being a P7 pupil.
Ryan Wilson was joined by P6 pupils Jayden McVittie and Riley Smith to take the small
schools’ race for their year.
They were competing in the Annandale and Eskdale primary school road relay 2019 at the Everholm running track in Annan.
Also competing was a team of P6 girls from Langholm primary school. Ava Bell, Antonia Brockley and Martha Brown
came second in the large schools’ race.
Annandale and Eskdale Active Schools and Community Sport said they would like to thank Magnox for its continued support of the PEPAS events.
The prizes were presented by Keith Drysdale, waste manager with Magnox Ltd.
