Diggle Boy makes it a hat-trick

DIGGLE Boy made it a hat-trick of wins in the pup trails, scoring successes at Spadeadam, Teviothead and Cumrew.

In second place at Spadeadam and at Cumrew was Border Brow but the dog had to settle for sixth spot at Teviothead.

In the three senior trails the honours were well-spread with Delta Script, Class Mo Salah and Tynemouth crossing the line first.

Fire Lass notched up a win and a second, the first in the open graded trail at Spadeadam, the second in the senior graded at Cumrew.

Buster Moon beat her to the finish at Cumrew.

Eight open maidens set off on the trail at Teviothead and first in was Red Hot Bob, followed by Sportsman and Class Mo Salah.

Spadeadam, Wednesday, September 23

Seniors: Delta Script, Polaris, Fire Gun, Fire Belle. 4 ran 25.14.

Pups: Diggle Boy, Border Brow, Matilda, Delta Status, Delta Style, Just William. 6 ran. 19.00.

Open graded: Fire Lass, Buster Moon, Bobby Moon, Lucky Charm, Overwater Stanley, Sportsman. 13 ran. 18.00.

Teviothead, Saturday, September 26

Seniors: Class Mo Salah, Polaris, Delta Scope, Fire Gun, Tynemouth, Fire Belle. 7 ran. 25.27.

Senior graded: Buster Moon, Pirate Jake, Fire Bolt, Splendid Mikey, Fire Lass, Bobby Moon. 6 ran. 26.45.

Pups: Diggle Boy, Time Will Tell, Delta Status, Matilda, Just William, Border Brow. 7 ran. 16.05.

Open maidens: Red Hot Bob, Sportsman, Class Mo Salah, Lucky Charm, Donna’s Pride, Fire Gem. 8 ran. 16.40.

Cumrew: Tuesday, September 29

Seniors: Tynemouth, Delta Script, Fire Gun, Class Mo Salah, Polaris, Buster Moon. 8 ran. 27.21.

Senior graded: Fire Lass, Sportsman. 4 ran, 2 finished. 36.00.

Pups: Diggle Boy, Border Brow, Time Will Tell, Delta Status. 5 ran, 4 finished. 18.48.
