A FULL entry list made up the Tom Bell round-robin pairs at the New Town Bowling green on Saturday.
Winners on the day were Copshaw’s Alistair Elliot and Langholm New Town’s Janie Hotson.
It is Janie’s first season at the club and was a brilliant effort by her to win an open competition.
In addition, it is also Alistair’s third consecutive open pairs competition win at the New Town this year.
The worthy runners-up were Duncan Ritchie and Ian Scott.
Beaten semi-finalists were George Graham and Kenny Bell, and Roddy Innes and Lawson Reid.
Thanks was given to Langholm Social Club and Kevan Hotson for their sponsorship, as well as the catering staff, the green keepers, as well as the volunteers who run the competitions and the bar.
Plus, a special shout-out was made to Paul Mitchell, as it was his last tournament as president of the club.
