Local man admits he sheltered murderers
24-year-old was ‘executed’ in brutal knife attack
A Canonbie man was instrumental in helping two convicted killers flee the country after a brutal Carlisle stabbing.
Ross Neville was one of three people who sheltered Kane Hull and Liam Porter in the hours following what a court heard was the “execution-style” killing of 24-year-old Ryan Kirkpatrick outside a city centre bar in September last year.
Neville, 32, of Broadmeadows Farm, drove the two men from Carlisle and provided them with accommodation before they escaped to Ireland.
