Langholm brewery teams up for new taproom venue in Carlisle
A Langholm-based brewery is spreading its wings across the border as part of an exciting new entertainment project in Cumbria.
Borderlands Brewery has teamed up with the Halston in Carlisle to bring the brewing tradition back to the city centre and open a new 2000 sq ft brewery and taproom.
The location is in the former Twisted Wheel building on the historic West Wall – site of an iconic nightclub which once attracted stars such as The Bay City Rollers.
The new venture will be called The West Walls Brewing Co. And its proximity to the upcoming Cumbria University Citadels Campus and its collaboration with the neighbouring Green Room Theatre sets the stage for an immersive community hub.
