Plans to build 35 homes for elderly and disabled people in Langholm have taken a step forward following a meeting this week with the D&G health board.

Thirty-five houses sheltered bungalows are being constructed by developer Loreburn, 25 of which will be run by the Integrated Joint Board of Health and Social Care and Community Care.
