Pensioner’s broadside after pothole menace strikes again
A Canonbie pensioner has told of having to fork out £150 for damaged wheels after falling victim to the growing pothole menace on our local roads.
And furious Christine Hudson has accused Dumfries & Galloway council of getting its priorities wrong with its plans to create a walking and cycling link, as well as upgrading the A75 trunk road.
“What about our local rural communities spending hundreds of pounds for repair to wheels, tyres and other damage due to the terrible condition of B and C roads?” Christine told the E&L.
