The impact of the Lionesses historic win against Germany in Euro 2022 on Sunday is being felt in Eskdale, inspiring the next generation of girl players.
The England women’s team beat Germany 2-1 in extra time at Wembley on Sunday night.
“Whether you were behind England or not, it is a huge boost for the girls’ game,” said Active Schools and Community Sport Officer, Calum Graham.
