CORNET Henry Jeffrey and his followers enjoyed glorious weather on the ride-out to the Benty last Saturday.
In total, 49 horsemen arrived at the hall after a gallop along the riverbank and were treated to refreshments by members of Westerkirk WRI.
Iain Lindsley, president was in the chair. Ross Mabon toasted the Cornet and Cornet Jeffrey replied.
The winner of the W H Harkness jubilee shield for the best-turned-out pony was won for the second year by Dominic Hislop.
