A GROUP investigating the potential for reopening the sports centre in Townfoot, Langholm is seeking volunteers.
It wants people to help with the distribution of its survey questionnaire.
The group was set up through the Langholm Initiative and is being led by board member Campbell Scott.
The centre was closed by Edinburgh Woollen Mill in February but the building is owned by Ashleybank Investments of Langholm.
The survey will be issued in hard-copy and digital formats to try to reach everyone in the community of Langholm and Eskdale so everyone has the opportunity to complete the survey.
The plan is to start distributing the survey towards the end of this week. It will also be at Langholm Academy next week and the Muckle Toon Adventure Festival this weekend to hand out the surveys.
Help is needed to deliver the surveys in the community. Please let the group know whether you are able to help distribute forms, starting from next Monday.
If you are available, please let them know which location you can cover, for example, Langholm, Bentpath or Eskdalemuir or whether you can deliver to the streets around where you live.
The group will work out a plan to cover as many areas as possible. If there is a duplication of volunteers in some areas, it may not be able to make use of everyone who volunteers.
