ALAN Miller’s new tartan reindeer are flying off the shelves this Christmas.
Alan’s business, Yarns to Yearn For, is in the Langholm Pop-Up Shop until Christmas Eve with a huge variety of gifts.
He has recently launched Muckle Toun tartan and it’s been made up into a variety of products.
Lampshades are made by Jo Elliot at Holmspun, the framed photos of the monument and map of Scotland are framed by Philip Gunn of Art Corner Gallery and the mugs are printed by Robert Scott of Hawick.
As well as the favourite tartan bears, there is a new line of slate coasters with various designs, along with doorstops, Nessies and Santa’s reindeer pulling the sleigh.
Alan said: “It’s been really busy with the new tartan taking off and I can’t keep up with the demand for the tartan reindeer.
“It’s been very encouraging seeing the increase in people shopping locally this year.”
