MEMBERS of the Newcastleton Wildlife Watch Club were invited to give a talk at Hermitage hall.
The children were asked to tell the audience all about their club and to share with others what they all got up to in the Liddesdale area.
The event was organised to raise funds for Maggie’s Centres and the theme was wildlife.
Wendy Patterson, leader, said: “This was a rare indoor session for us and it worked well because it was a dreadfully wet afternoon.
We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon and were truly spoilt with a variety of cakes, sandwiches and hot chocolate.
“We like to thank everyone who came to the hall for making us all feel very welcome.”
