LANGHOLM Regeneration Group’s Easter trail, which starts next weekend, has a local artistic flavour.
The group put out a call asking the town’s “Banksy” to produce about 20 painted slates with an Easter theme.
These numbered slates will be hidden in the High Street and around the Castleholm and children and their families can follow the trails.
People, who want to participate, can take photos of their finds to send to the group’s Facebook page.
Prizes will be awarded. The winner, as well as receiving a giant Easter egg, will be able to pick their favourite stone from the trails to keep. There will also be craft prizes.
The trails will be available for children to follow from next Friday, April 2 until Friday, April 9.
