Just champion for Campbell

ONE young lad and his sheep took the rigours of the show ring in their stride at Langholm last Saturday.
Campbell Graham of Evertown Farm, Canonbie, won the non-accredited Zwartble championship and kept their cool to take the breed overall reserve championship.
The gimmer Sultur Francesca was bought as a lamb from Bogrie Farm.
Parents Sarah and Robin were at the ringside to watch Campbell, who is no stranger to competition, scoop the honours.
Despite the previous heavy rain, the show day was warm and sunny and visitors were treated to a spectacle of livestock, dogs and industrial skills, along with the chill-eating competition, fast becoming a firm favourite.
For all the trophy winners and photos, turn to pages 9 to 16.
