UNHAPPY locals are calling on Borders Buses to increase the X95 service back to pre-Covid levels, but the company has said it is not yet possible.
The X95 service, which runs between Carlisle and Edinburgh, is considered a lifeline for many residents along the route.
While it currently operates every two hours between the hours of around 7am and 5pm weekdays and until 7pm on Saturday, and between 10am and 6pm on Sunday, pre-Covid it operated hourly and had late night buses so that residents and visitors alike could travel around the area.
A number of people have complained on social media about the available services.
