A LOCAL petition asking Borders Buses to resume their pre-Covid X95 service has gained traction with two local politicians backing the campaign for it to be fully reinstated.
Dumfriesshire MP David Mundell and constituency MSP Oliver Mundell have raised constituents’ concerns about the length of time the X95 services have been operating at a curtailed level.
The public transport link between Edinburgh and Carlisle serves many small towns and rural villages, such as Langholm and Canonbie.
