Tenants of Buccleuch Estates say they are shocked and distressed after receiving letters from their landlord, notifying them that their homes are to be potentially sold as part of an ongoing business shake-up.
Buccleuch says it is currently unable to put a figure of the number of homes affected, but it’s believed around 30 tenants of its Borders Estate in areas including Langholm, Canonbie, The Hollows and Nittyholm have been earmarked for sale.
