‘Despite funding limitations, we are dedicated to transforming Langholm into a thriving community’#
The Langholm Alliance, as an umbrella organisation within the town, focused on the tasks laid out in the Langholm Community Plan for 2030, making the ‘Muckle Toon’ a great place to live, visit and invest in held their Annual General Meeting on Monday night.
Interim Chair, Mary Hudson welcomed everyone and reported to members present on behalf of the Board of Trustees, which she began with some heartfelt thanks. “Firstly to Denis Male, the outgoing Chairman, for all his very hard work since the inception of Langholm First later renamed the Langholm Alliance. His dedication to the work of the Langholm Alliance and indeed to Langholm in a number of other guises, over the years is a something he should be very of proud and we as a Community, very thankful for. When Denis stepped down from being the Chairman of the Langholm Alliance for personal reasons the Board of Trustees were most grateful that he felt able to remain as a member of our Board where he continues to give his valuable time and support to the Board in its endeavours. Thank you, Denis, very much for all that you have done.
