Youngsters pick up some top tips

AN INTREPID group of young cricketers from Annandale and Eskdale headed to The Emirates ICG at Durham for a day of coaching and fun provided by Durham County Cricket Club and the summer sports academy.
Subsidised by Langholm junior cricket club, most of the youngsters were from the Muckle Toon and were aged six to 18, with the addition of a slightly rotund 37-year-old who couldn’t help himself and had to join in.
