Wishes come true as Hughes rides to win

WESTERKIRK trainer James Ewart had a number of runners at Musselburgh last Sunday and made an excellent start to the afternoon.
Ewart ran Lord Wishes, the 8-11 favourite, in the 2m 4f maiden hurdle and jockey Brian Hughes pulled clear at the last to win by an easy 11 lengths.
