Duns Amateurs 2 Hearts of Liddesdale 3 HEARTS travelled to Duns Amateurs for this Border Cup clash with only 10 available players because of a series of last-minute call-offs.

But this did not deter them and they started brightly, playing some good flowing football. Duns did have more of the play because of the one-player advantage but Hearts used the ball better and after 30 minutes, went ahead when McCrone turned brilliantly on the edge of the box and smashed a powerful shot past the home keeper.
