Trimby builds on Common Riding running success

NO Langholm runners competed at Meadowmill last Saturday, but there was success for the Common Riding 90m handicap winner Ryan Trimby from Hawick who won the 200m handicap.
Tommy Finkle of Jed won the 90m handicap and Ross Matheson of Lasswade took first prize in the 800m handicap from scratch in 1m 55.58s.Darrell Hastie of Kelso won the 1600m off a mark of 60 metres, with Dean Whiteford of Innerleithen who was successful at Langholm, finishing in second place from a mark of 140m.
Iain Little and Ryan Milligan are back in action at Morebattle this Saturday. Little runs off a mark of 35m in the 800m handicap and last weeks winner Ross Mathieson is again on the scratch mark Colin Welsh of Kelso is off 20m and Langholm winner Andrew Thompson of Jed is on 70m.
Little is also entered for the 1600m andget a mark of 135m.
Ryan Milligan is entered for the longer 3,200m and runs off 300m, with Mathieson on scratch and Welsh on 60m.
