POLLYANNA’S were able to field only four players to face home team Eskdale but decided to play the match.
In a reversal of recent form the visitors won three singles, one pairs and one triples. Only the captain failed to contribute any points and Eskdale won by seven games to five.
L Reid and D Devlin both scored 100 for PollyAnna’s.
The league pairs’ tournament is being played tonight in PollyAnna’s.
Entries are £2 a pair and are confined to league players. Start time is 8pm.
