Promotion hopes aided by away win

LANGHOLM won by 134 runs in the crucial promotion-chasing match away to rivals Caldbeck 2nd XI in the Eden Valley division three clash.
Fine batting beyond the half century by Ben Maxwell, Gregor Park and Duncan Elliott took Langholm to a big score of 270 for 5 in the allotted 40 overs. Caldbeck were all out for 136 in 32 overs.
