Promotion delight for dogged Hearts

Ancrum 2 Hearts of Liddesdale 3 HEARTS travelled to Ancrum for this vital end-of-season match knowing they had to win to gain promotion to the Border League Division A.
Dean Thomson scored two goals for Hearts of Liddesdale, helping to secure their promotion to the Border League Division A
The stage was set for a cracking match and right from the kick-off Ancrum pushed Hearts back into their own half for long periods, forcing several corners.
