Primary in final at first attempt

A TEAM from Langholm primary school played in the John Slorance six-a-side tournament for the first time last Friday and reached the final but lost 2-0 to Hawick school Wilton.
The tournament, which was played in a pool system, was held on Newcastleton playing fields. The village school won the tournament last year and were asked to be hosts.
