THREE Hounds have dominated the last three senior trails.

Prancer had two comfortable wins at Hallbankgate on Tuesday, Spring Roamer second, and on Thursday at Newcastleton,

On Saturday at Middle Moss Spring Roamer had to pullout all the stops to overcome Langholm Common Riding Winner and Championship leader Text, who was second at both previous meetings

At Hallbankgate Gonzofast and Rickman were the only two pups to finish within the allocated time, others returning to the start, much more success in the Open Graded with Amber Gem from Burgh by Sands flying in to beat Castle Cairn from Langholm

The Open Maidens winner Azifamboverd finished strongly from the fast finishing Amber Didier who overtook puppy Spring Hunter on the line.

Fast finishing puppy Border Jasmine had a winning double firstly at Newcastleton, from Haltwhistle based puppy Domino with Class McAra a close third, and again at Middle Moss this time beating Fagin and Puppy Championship leader Fire Lily

Open Graded at Newcastleton was won by Skye from Trust one of the Associations greatest hounds who is now a veteran and Castle Cairn third,

Open Maidens was won by Border Pal from veteran Lakeland Mist and puppy Silver Spirit

The Graded hounds at Middle Moss was won by the consistent Fire Cracker with Newcastleton's Open Graded winner Skye second, and to the delight of two young members Callum and Liam from Haltwhistle Insight was third.

In the Puppy Graded Spring Ransome emerged the Winner from Silver spirit and kennel mate Spring Hunter third

The Veteran trail was won by Castle Corrie from Trust and Lakeland Mist.

Having won the last four veterans out of five, Castle Corrie is closing in on table leader Newman who hasn't ran lately because of injury, and Summer Delight at the moment in third place, there are still a few veteran trails left so it will be a closely contested Championship
