Maxwell hits 53 as Langholm ease home

APPLEBY Horse Fair was in full swing when Langholm visited the picturesque Vicars Croft ground for the match against Appleby 3rd XI in the Eden Valley League last Saturday.

It was quite an experience as the players drove through the town, with plenty of sights, sounds and fake tans, but it did not put them off the task ahead and it was certainly not horses for courses as Langholm secured a solid victory.
