Improved performance for national under-20s in SA

THE Scotland under-20 rugby side lost the opening match in the IRB junior world championships in Cape Town, South Africa, with a heavy 67-12 defeat by Australia.
Robin Hislop of Langholm played the entire match at prop and he was also in action in the second game against France.
This was a performance which was much improved by Scotland and they were only narrowly beaten 30-29.
France secured the winning try two minutes from the finish.
