Gunning for glory in the sun

THE children’s races at the Langholm Common Riding games were fiercely contested on the track at the Castleholm as was the ex-Cornets’ race, with a number of former postholders sprinting down the grass track.
The boys and girls were divided into age groups and they all enjoyed competing against each other on a sunny afternoon.
