Bowlers on target for shields, cups and platters

A TEAM from Canonbie SWRI have won the Dumfriessshire Federation bowling competition held at Maxwelltown bowling club in Dumfries. Canonbie was in the final against Lochmaben WRI.

May Austen, past convener of Dumfriesshire and Isabel Moffat, Dumfriesshire convener, presented the trophy to the Canonbie team of Elma Aitken, Stella Geddes, Daphne Irving and Doreen Millar.
