Aidan takes top spot at contest

LANGHOLM footballer Aidan Wilson was crowned player of the tournament when he represented his school at the Lower Annandale and Eskdale primary schools indoor five-a-side tournament at the Sands Centre in Carlisle.

More than 110 children playing for 17 teams from 12 schools took part. This year’s tournament was again sponsored by Annan Athletic FC and Tesco.
