Libby Clegg and her guide runner Chris Clark enjoy Wimbledon in the royal box with their partners Dan Powell and Lucy Crockston

Libby, who was accompanied by her partner Dan Powell, and Chris with his partner Lucy Crockston, joined a number of celebrated Olympians and Paralympians.

They had been invited by Philip Brook, chairman of the All England Lawn Tennis Club. They included swimmers, sailors, cyclists, hockey players and canoeists.

Sue Barker, a former player who now works for the BBC, introduced them all individually to the spectators to huge applause.

She said: "In keeping with tradition on this middle Saturday of the championships Philip Brook has invited guests into the royal box from the world of sport to pay tribute to some of the stars from the Olympics and Paralympics."

Andy Murray was the final guest to appear and he has now qualified for the quarter-finals.
