A KEEN afternoon of flapping at the Langholm Common Riding meeting saw the trophies shared widely among the entries.
In the open races the Mercury Stakes was first on the card and Wayne Hogg rode Riverside Giant to victory for High Level Racing of Hawick.
Just in Time, owned by Elliot Borthwick and Neil Henderson of Langholm, was second.
The Eskdale Plate headed to Hawick with owner Mrs J Robson after Andrew Fairley on Jamron rode a good race to beat Croc of Gold.
Fergies Boy from Ireland, ridden by M Mannion, was a good winner in the Tradesmen’s Plate for trainer George McGilligan.
Ex-Cornet Ian Earsman took the honours in the Innkeepers Plate for his Raeburn Racing stables, with Michael Williams on board.
In the local races Scott Irving won the Castle Craigs race on Man Star and Gregor Hepburn was successful on Sting in the Spur Race.
Only two runners lined up in the Westerhall Plate and Emma Crozier won on Izzy from Alexa Dickson on Something Special.
Nicky Henderson stormed past the post to win the pony race on Bonny, with Grant Huggan on Skip second and Flying Freddy, ridden by Calum Henderson, third.
