Punters can cash in with Fergies Boy

LANGHOLM is hosting a two-day flapping meeting tomorrow and Saturday and it is all systems go after last weekend’s unfortunate cancellation.

There is a strong entry and a large contingent of Irish entries.

With the course a bit on the easy side, it may be best to pin your hopes on Fergies Boy who will relish the underfoot conditions.

Monday’s Joy is another Irish ace in the pack and should be followed.

For the locals a big run will be expected from King Zaffeen, who has won twice recently, while Mambo Moon could oblige in the condition’s race this Saturday.

The first flap on Common Riding day is at 2.30pm and the following day’s Langholm Horse Racing Association meeting will kick off at 2pm.
