THE ANNUAL Langholm New Town bowling pairs tournament for the Castle Craigs cup took place last Saturday with 28 entries.

The winners were Langholm pair Neil Campbell and Tom Reay who beat Newcastleton husband and wife entry Stuart and Val Beadle.
In the semi-finals the winners beat Ian Henderson and Zander Turnbull from Langholm Old, and the other pair knocked out at that stage were Karl and Duncan Nawrocki.
The cup was presented to the winners by New Town president Eleanor McMurdo. The tournament was sponsored by Enesco.
