No fun in the sun for frogs

THIS is a first for me – taking a sunlounger into the garden last weekend to enjoy a spot of sun-bathing. And it’s still March.
Unusually hot March weather has left frogspawn high and dry at one of the quarries in Langholm
As I sat there on Sunday looking up at a cloudless sky, the bees were buzzing and the odd butterfly fluttered past. A friend phoned to say she’d just taken a photo of a peacock butterfly in her garden.
