Let’s hear it for band pair

IF THE weather’s been good on their Common Riding day, Langholm folk will say God must be a Langholm man. I think that on Friday he was proved to be so.

How else were we blessed with the kind of weather we had on our Common Riding day, especially because on the previous day and the day after we had the wet days we’re becoming used to in this so-called summer.
