MAY I, through the courtesy of your columns, remind the under-mentioned organisations that if they require poppy wreaths for Remembrance Sunday, they need not get in touch with myself or any member of the Royal British Legion Scotland, Langholm branch Committee.

If we do not hear from you by August 17, poppy wreaths will be ordered.

Scouts, the community councils of Canonbie, Eskdalemuir and Langholm, Ewes and Westerkirk, the churches of Langholm, Ewes, Eskdalemuir and Westerkirk and Waterbeck, Langholm fire and rescue service, Gilnockie community, 107 Lodge Eskdale Kilwinning, Langholm Rotary Club, Langholm and Canonbie Probus clubs, Langholm pie club, Castle Craigs Club and Langholm day centre.
